J.A.M. AND I.C.E.

J.A.M. and I.C.E. have been hard at work producing a display to follow the recent Lent Course.

The Lent Course was entitled “The Things He Carried” and our display shows in the centre the cross,   surrounded by the 30 pieces of silver, then in the 4 sections of the board, the crown of thorns, his robe, the nails and the empty tomb (with the 3 crosses in the background).

J.A.M. and I.C.E. will start again after the Easter Holiday.

Mothers and Toddlers Group receive funding help

St Werburgh’s are delighted to announce that the Mothers and Toddlers  have been awarded a grant  of £100 to support the group.

The grant has come from the Your Moorlands Housing Group and will ensure the group can continue.

Mothers and Toddlers meet each Tuesday in the village hall between 2pm and 3pm during term time.

Reverend Carole Richardson said ‘we are very grateful to Your Moorlands Housing for supporting this community group, the money will support our work with the children’
