J.A.M. and I.C.E. have been busy making sheep and painting the picture of Jesus for our latest display “The Good Shepherd”.  Our sheep were made out of cotton wool balls.

The Parent and Toddler Group used cotton wool pads. All our sheep are different in some way.

We took part in role play. Several children were wolves, others sheep. Two of our teenage leaders were the shepherds protecting the sheep from the wolves. Emma, one of our J.A.M. leaders was getting Confirmed on 25th May along with two members of I.C.E. The J.A.M. children were very interested asking what confirmation was all about. Emma, has left us for the moment, to go on maternity leave. We presented her with a bouquet of flowers.

Parents are now arriving in time to take part in the music, hymns and prayers at the end of each session, younger brothers and sisters are also enjoying joining us for this time together.

We meet during term time and our meetings are free.

Friday J.A.M. 4.30 p.m. – 5.30 p.m.

Friday I.C.E.  5.45 p.m. – 6.45 p.m.

We have bible stories and discussions, crafts, music using percussion instruments and singing.

Our display board at the back of church changes regularly and we include prayers that we have written ourselves.

Facilities at church include a toilet with disabled access.

If you have children whose ages fall into both groups, that’s fine, they can attend either group together.

You can be sure of a warm welcome and leave with new friends!
