Public Meeting

There will be a public meeting at St Werburgh’s Church to discus the proposed alterations to the back of the church. The meeting is open to all and will be held at 7.30pm on January the 20th.

Wednesday Drop In

This is a new regular event for 2016.

Begining on January 13th Rev. Carol has decided to open the church each Wednesday morning during term time between 8.30 and 9.30 in the morning for free coffee and toast.


We have a late addition to the Advent and Christmas programme of events and services.

Come along to St Werburgh’s at 11.00 AM on Sunday December 20th for a Christingle Service.

Remembrance Sunday Service

remembranceThis years service is on Sunday 8th November in the Church at 1045 am.

This is an opportunity to remember all those who have died in conflicts in the service of their country.

A further act of remembrance will take place on Wednesday 11th November at the war memorial on Dovedale Road.

The improvement works around the war memorial will have been completed by then as well.

All Soul’s Service


all soulsThis years all souls service is held with in the church on Sunday November 1st at 4pm.

This is a time when we remember all those who have died and light a candle in their memory

Meets each Tuesday, during the school Term in Kingsley Village Hall. 2pm to 3pm

No charge

St. Werburgh’s After School Club.

Meets every Friday Afternoon during term time  in the  Church.
