St. Werburgh’s is offering the opportunity to all local residents, to become involved in our exciting project to upgrade the Church Building for Community use.

Plans are already in place to provide a free community space which could be used for clubs, groups, meetings etc. The plans involve a new enlarged kitchen, new access to the belfry, a gallery area and a meeting room to accommodate 30 people. This area will be separated from the main Church by an oak and glass screen.

The Church Community believes that all local residents value this beautiful historic Building and in turn the Church values the whole of the Community.

On March 20th, 12.30 – 4p.m. we are holding a Gift Day and we invite you to visit St. Werburgh’s to inspect our plans and enjoy a cup of tea and a biscuit and using the envelope provided make a donation to our planned expenditure of £110,000.

If you prefer your envelope to be collected please ring, 01538-754813.

Thank you for taking the time to read this letter.
